Message from the Chair

Dear Leaders and Colleagues,
IAMRA Strategic Plan 2026-2028
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to share that IAMRA's 2026-2028 Strategic Planis now published. The plan solidifies IAMRA's strong foundations and advances effective medical regulation on a global scale. With significant input and expertise from our Members and Partners, the plan sets a clear direction for IAMRA over the next two years.
The plan establishes three key priorities for 2026-2028:
1.Grow Relevance: Increase the value we provide to Members and Partners while strengthening our contribution to international patient safety, including through initiatives such as the Physician Information Exchange (PIE).
2.Grow Influence: Enhance IAMRA's contribution to international discussions on medical regulation and deepen collaboration with key partners, including regional leaders and the World Health Organization.
3.Grow Membership: Strengthen communication, engagement and opportunities for participation across our global community.
Consultation: Draft AI Policy Guidance
A key initiative of the Strategic Plan is to develop an AI Policy Guidance to support our membership navigate this rapidly evolving area. Led by IAMRA'sAI Working Group, the draft policy guidance is now open for consultation with all Members and Partners on theMembers Hub.
Please review the draft policy guidance and submit your feedback by October 27, 2026.
