IAMRA Membership Dues (in U.S. Dollars)
Download/print PDF version
In an effort to assess membership dues for IAMRA using an equitable foundation, the following structure has been implemented based upon each country’s 2019 Gross National Income (GNI) per capita*, as grouped and determined by the World Bank.
A complete listing of countries can be found below and at:
Category 4 = High Income Countries (earnings of $13,846 or more)
Category 3 = Upper-Middle Income Countries (earnings of $4,446 to $13,845)
Category 2 = Lower-Middle Income Countries (earnings of $1,136 to $4,465)
Category 1 = Low Income Countries (earnings of $1,135 or less)
Waiver or Relief of Membership Dues
IAMRA is almost exclusively funded from membership dues. Accordingly, a waiver or relief of dues will only be granted to a member or partner where there is evidence of an extreme or other significant circumstance impacting the functioning of that member organization in their jurisdiction.
Please refer to the following guidelines approved by the IAMRA Board that include the criteria for a waiver and relief of membership dues and instructions on how to apply.

Note: In the case of very small medical regulatory authorities in countries without World Bank classification, or in countries with World Bank classification that is inflated by significant levels of international aid, the Management Committee has discretion to reduce the membership fee to that of the lowest national or sub-national category as appropriate.
Within each World Bank category, Members and sub-national Members may apply for a fee reduction if their IAMRA membership fee exceeds US$0.50 per licensee. Documentation, such as an annual report that verifies the medical regulatory authority's licensee number, is required in support of the application. If approved, the fee will be reduced to that of the next lower World Bank category.
Note: Multi-national and International organizations fall in the category for the country in which their headquarters or secretariats are located.
NOTE: These classifications are in effect until July 1.
