Dear Leaders and Colleagues,
As 2025 draws to a close, I’m reflecting with gratitude on IAMRA’s remarkable achievements over the past year.
16th IAMRA International Conference on Medical Regulation, Dublin, Ireland, September 3-6
Hosted by the Medical Council of Ireland under the theme “People-focused regulation for a safer global community,” the conference brought together 453 delegates from 35 countries, exceeding our participation goals. See Conference Summary.
The feedback was strong: 91% of attendees were satisfied or very satisfied, 73% expressed interest in future conferences, and 85% want to engage in other IAMRA activities. These results affirm the value of our commitment to global dialogue on medical and health practitioner regulation.
Looking ahead to Hong Kong, September 1-4, 2027, we'll build on this success by enhancing inclusivity, expanding access to participation, and creating more interactive opportunities. Thank you to everyone who made Dublin 2025 a success.

IAMRA Webinar Program
IAMRA continued its annual webinar series in 2025 focusing on current and emerging regulatory issues including quality assurance of medical education, AI in regulation, and embedding compassion in medical education and regulation. Visit the Members Only section to access the recordings.
An exciting program is being planned for 2026, including a February presentation from the Indian National Medical Commission on their regulatory reforms. The date, time and registration details will be announced soon.
Physician Information Exchange (PIE)
As reported in recent communications and webinars, IAMRA's PIE has been identified in international media as a key solution for sharing information about the international movement of physicians with regulatory sanctions.
All IAMRA Members can access PIE. Every entry submitted and search conducted strengthens our global network to prevent physicians with troubling histories from moving into your jurisdiction undetected. To get started, please contact Sarah Heermans atsecretariat@iamra.com.
2026 Membership Survey
We’ll deliver our next IAMRA Membership Survey in early 2026. Your feedback is important and will guide IAMRA's strategic planning and program development, helping us focus on what matters most to our Members and Partners. Please look out for the email invitation from the Secretariat.
On behalf of the Board, I wish all IAMRA’s Members, Partners and friends a wonderful holiday season and a healthy, peaceful, and prosperous New Year. Together with the Secretariat Team, we look forward to serving you in 2026.
Warm Regards,
Nicole Krishnaswami, JD
IAMRA Chair
