One of the pleasures of sitting on the IAMRA Board is that it allows me the opportunity to engage with my peers and colleagues from around the world. The level of collaboration and cooperation is high, and this is very important as we navigate common challenges and strive towards our common goal – to protect the public and ensure patients receive good quality care from the medical and other health professionals. For many of us, the environment in which we work is more complex and challenging than ever before, with a global health workforce shortage. Government interest in medical and health professional regulation is high, and this provides us with a real opportunity to use our regulatory expertise to provide valued input to support needed change. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge all those working in medical and health professional regulation. Thank you for turning up every day, to make a difference for all of our communities.
2025 Dublin Conference update
Following the fantastic response to the abstract submissions process, I am very pleased to let you know that we were able to increase our capacity for presentations. We now have 56 oral presentations, and 9 workshops spread across 4 breakout sessions in the programme. I would like to thank everyone who submitted abstracts. We encourage all submitting authors and co-presenters to register for the Conference as soon as possible to secure their place on the programme. Information on the keynote speakers is now available on the Conference website here. Please also keep a look out for the provisional programme that will be released on the Conference website soon.
A reminder that early bird registration is open until 16 June. Please take advantage of the reduced rates before this period expires!
We are looking forward to welcoming you all to Dublin, Ireland on 3-6 September!
