Kia ora koutou, rau rangatira mā,
Greetings leaders and colleagues,
It was an absolute pleasure to host the AI symposium in Baltimore last month and to catch up with our members and friends who attended. We are thankful to our keynote speakers, panel members and all who contributed to making the symposium such a great success. We have all come away with a lot to think about around this rapidly changing field as AI is integrated into medical practice. I encourage you to access the excellent presentations available to IAMRA members at MO-IAMRA Symposia.

Upcoming webinar: “Getting the most out of the IAMRA Physician Information Exchange (PIE)”, October 22, 2024
IAMRA’s PIE platform is an important member benefit to support regulators with critical patient safety information. PIE facilitates information sharing across international borders, allowing IAMRA members to identify doctors who have been sanctioned in another jurisdiction or made a fraudulent application for registration.
This webinar will feature one medical regulator who benefited from the PIE platform. Please register here.
If you are a medical regulatory authority interested in learning more about using the PIE platform, please contact: sheermans@iamra.com.
IAMRA Conference: “People-focused regulation for a safer global community” September 4-7, 2025, Dublin, Ireland
Abstract submission is now open. I encourage all medical regulators and partners to submit your innovative work and accomplishments related to the conference theme and sub-themes, including the regulator’s role in enabling a global health workforce, developments and innovations in education, accreditation, assessment, and remediation, as well as engaging with the public and patients, and many others. Your participation will provide a rich conference for our global network.
