IAMRA Membership Dues (in U.S. Dollars)
In an effort to assess membership dues for IAMRA using an equitable foundation, the following structure has been implemented based upon each country’s 2015 Gross National Income (GNI) per capita*, as grouped and determined by the World Bank.
A complete listing of countries can be found below and at: www.worldbank.org/data/countryclass/countryclass.html
Category 4 = High Income Countries (earnings of $12,476 or more)
Category 3 = Upper-Middle Income Countries (earnings of $4,036 to $12,475)
Category 2 = Lower-Middle Income Countries (earnings of $1,026 to $4,035)
Category 1 = Low Income Countries (earnings of $1,025 or less)
Note: In the case of very small medical regulatory authorities in countries without World Bank classification, or in countries with World Bank classification that is inflated by significant levels of international aid, the Management Committee has discretion to reduce the membership fee to that of the lowest national or sub-national category as appropriate.
Within each World Bank category, Members and sub-national Members may apply for a fee reduction if their IAMRA membership fee exceeds US$0.50 per licensee. Documentation, such as an annual report that verifies the medical regulatory authority's licensee number, is required in support of the application. If approved , the fee will be reduced to that of the next lower World Bank category.
*Multi-national and International organizations fall in the category for the country in which their headquarters or secretariats are located.
