IAMRA Membership Committee
Membership is essential to IAMRA’s purpose of sharing information and encouraging best practices in medical regulation worldwide. The Membership Committee communicates with members to determine their needs and expectations regarding IAMRA membership and priorities and with non-members to learn more about how IAMRA might serve them.
(See full charge.)
A major initiative for the Membership Committee is IAMRA eNews, a quarterly newsletter to facilitate the sharing of information by and for those with an interest in medical regulation.
IAMRA eNews Correspondents Program
Alongside this publication is the IAMRA eNews Correspondents Program, by which members can share information about significant events and achievements occurring in their jurisdiction with other members through IAMRA eNews by designating a representative of their organization to serve as a member correspondent to bring forth relevant links or brief articles outlining innovations, trends or newsworthy items of international interest to IAMRA’s newsletter audience – the goal being to provide members with an opportunity to highlight their work on an international stage and share best practices with other regulators from around the world.
The Membership Committee welcomes members to participate in this program and invites them to contact the IAMRA Secretariat if they or a representative from their organization is interested in becoming a correspondent.
One of IAMRA’s strategic goals is to support the work of regulatory authorities around the world. A step towards this goal is IAMRA Connect - a service allows IAMRA members to get in touch with one another for the purpose of setting up visits.
Is your organization able to host such visits? Please let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org. It would be helpful to know whether hosting visits is part of a formal educational program; the kinds of visits you offer, including duration and the type of sessions provided; and contact information for those interested in visiting your organization. This information will be posted in the Members Only section of IAMRA's website.
